An actor by trade, Lauren Nordvig has worked regionally and Off-Bway as a member of AEA and can be seen on BroadwayHD as "Ma" in The Woodsman. She's also been the Co-Founder and Managing Director for a global storytelling platform, shepherding that project from idea to 501c3 (think, The Moth meets ancestry.com). Most recently, she stewarded hundreds of Brooklyn artists through the grants process and programs at Brooklyn Arts Council and is a Gator & recent graduate of NAS + UPENN's Executive Program in Arts and Culture Strategy. This Virgo also coordinates weddings, captains for catering companies, is an active arts mentor, trained in mediation & negotiation at Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and moonlights as a Grant Panelist for several organizations. In partnership with Dumbo BID, she's also a proud producer of The Six Foot Platform every summer, and is a passionate Arts Advocate who believes our craft & contributions deserve a thriveable wage.
